  Installing SSIOBS

Choose the appropriate version to start the download:

1. Choose one of the Download choices above and run the installer
If any security alerts open, click Run

2. Click OK, or select your language and then click OK

3. Click Next

4. Select 'I accept the agreement', then click Next

5. Click Next, or select an alternate installation location and then click OK

6. Click Next, or select 'Me Only' to install this application for only your user profile on the computer and then click Next

7. Click Install

8. Once the installation has finished, click Finish and SSIOBSOBM will open
If any security alerts open, click Allow

9. Use the default backup server 'backup-011.phx01.ssiobs.com:8081' and the 'http' protocol, then click Next

10. Enter a Login Name, Password, and your Email Address

11. Click Submit
If the Login Name is already taken, enter a different one and click Submit

12. Enter a Backup Set Name and then click Next

13. Check which common areas you would like to backup and then click Next, or click Advanced to select files and folders manually
If you clicked Advanced:
1. Select which files and folders you would like to backup, then click OK
2. Click Next

14. Click Next, or click Properties to modify the default backup schedule
If you clicked Properties:
1. Enter a Backup Schedule Name
2. Select the type of recurring backup
3. Select the time you would like the backup to occur
4. Click OK
5. Click Add to add another schedule, or click Next

15. Click OK (Recommended), or select Custom
If you selected Custom:
1. Select an encryption Algorithm to use
2. Select an algorithm Mode
3. If available, select a Key Size
4. Provide an Encrypting Key
5. Or select 'Do not use encryption' (Not Recommended)
6. Click OK, then click OK

16. To run a backup immediately, click Backup, select your backup set, then click OK

17. SSIOBSOBM has been setup and configured and an icon will be installed in your system tray

Make sure to leave your computer running during scheduled backup times
